Der Geier – friend or foe
Lukas Geier cannot escape his past. Worse still, the alleged murderer of his friend and mentor Frank Becker wants to enter the witness protection program! Until now, contract killer Roland Büttner has been murdering for 'Ndrangheta boss Angelo Marienthal – now he himself is on Marienthal's death list. Because the Calabrian mafia has a mole in the State Criminal Police Office, Büttner only trusts Lukas Geier – and his former boss Annemarie Papst. Is Büttner who he claims to be? Have undercover investigators infiltrating the 'Ndrangheta really been exposed and are their lives in danger? Does the killer Büttner really want to help? Or does he have a completely different agenda? And who is the mole in the State Criminal Police Office? A merciless race against time begins. Geier's girlfriend Lara Schnee is toying with the idea of selling her hotel – and receives an extremely attractive offer. But when she changes her mind, a hotel guest dies. A gentle hint from the prospective buyer that he will not accept a “no”... By the time Lukas Geier and Franziska Conte find out who the mole is, what Büttner's real plans are, and who is behind it all, it is almost too late – for them, for Lara Schnee, and also for Annemarie Papst...
